We're pretty hopeful that the sun's going to break through by this evening, and there's going to be virtually no wind, but with mid-tide unworkable at the coast we're back to the river tonight. Meeting at 6.30pm at Paper Mill Lock (CM3 4BS – see www.wetndrysup.com/paper-mill-lock-river-chelmer) we're going for a 6.45pm launch, this week heading west (left!) into the flow two locks upriver to Stonham's Lock. Any luck we'll be off the water in time to make the Six Bells for dinner by 9pm ... or failing that, the Grange up the road serves until 10pm!
