After a successful meet yesterday, we're planning a repeat performance today for anyone that's keen and/or couldn't make it. It's going to take just a little more effort on the way back, but really not enough to trouble us, so we're going to meet from 11am for an 11.30 launch at Two Tree Island (SS9 2GB – see http://www.wetndrysup.com/sup-locations/two-tree-island/). Again, we'll head west to Benfleet Yacht Club, maybe under the bridge towards the station, before using the building ebb tide to help us home into what will probably have built into a light easterly breeze. Conditions should be pretty flat again, this time with the outside risk of a tiny bit of corrugated chop on the way home – and we're aiming to cover 8km or so. All capable comers welcome, but no hire kit available.
