Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of ANZAC - 1915-2015
We would like to see as many members, their families and friends as possible here for this special service.
Arrangements as follows:
March Commences at 0635hrs adjacent to the Oval on Carnarvon Tce and will be led by the Port Adelaide City Band
Dawn Service Commences 0645hrs in front of club rooms
Traditional Gunfire Breakfast (2 sausages, two eggs, rasher of bacon, toast and tea or coffee) will be available for $5.00 per person or egg and bacon roll $3.00
Adelaide metro buses run regularly from the front of the club to the city for the city march
Entertainment / Live Music - Platinum - will be playing from 1.30-5.30pm
Usual ANZAC Day acitivities throughout the day
Meals will be available in the evening - fish & chips or burgers
ANZAC Day AFL matches will be shown on the Sports Bar TV all afternoon. Televised matches wlil be Essendon v Collingwood and Port Power v Hawthorn.
Largs Bay RSL in conjunction with Des's Minibuses are providing a bus service, from the Club Rooms as far north as North Haven and south to Peterhead, throughout the afternoon/evening to help you get home safely. - see photo for map of route. (A small donation from passengers would be appreciated.)
It promises to be a great day after a very special morning of commemorating 100 years of ANZAC
