Last time Jokes Please! took a political stance a live debate erupted during the show where an anti-transit audience member stood up and yelled astute points such as “Only losers take the bus!” and “My taxes don’t pay for losers!” Did we learn our lesson? NOPE!

BERNIE! BERNIE! BERNIE! BERNIE! BERNIE! BERNIE!

There’ll be policy jokes, debate analysis, WE’LL BE CARVING A STATUE OF HIM LIVE ON STAGE OUT OF AN UNUSED PIZZA CRUST DOUGH THING I FORGET ABOUT! So political!

Super Delegates are dumb! SUPER DUPER DELEGATES though, are cool. That’s where 50 Canadians get on each other’s shoulders at a comedy show under a very large trenchcoat and stride across America with steps as large as the income gap raising the call for a political revolution! Calls of BEEEERNIE! will ring through the mountain passes as our unnatural colossus crosses state and geographical borders to level the political playing field and challenge billionaires to giant robot fights.

Clinton, Trump, Warren, Kasich, Cruz, Calvert and Mulroney (Ben) supporters are all welcome at the show but if you heckle it will get REALLY zingsy. POLITICALLY ZINGSY!

Possible zings: “You support Cruz? Why don’t you take a CRUISE to your butt!” or “Trump supporter? More like RUMP SUPPORTER! You know, because his unpleasant and often hateful rhetoric is butt-like.”
