Come and learn more about dancing culture of Great Britain and in particular acquaintance with British folk dance – “Morris dance”.

There will be a lot of communication, interesting stories, dancing and many surprises :)

The event is organised by Charitable Foundation “Solntse” (http://www.sunfond.ru/en/) and ENCC English Communication Club

Mr. Anthony Shaw, the head of the dancing group of the Finnish-British Society “Helsinki Morrisers”, will tell us about origin and development of this unique tradition.
This event is significant due to several reasons:
- First of all, it is a charitable meeting. All the participants of “Helsinki Morrisers” are performing for free and the collected money will be transferred to help a girl Lera Ryabtseva who urgently needs a surgery.

- Secondly, it is a great opportunity to improve your English. Anthony is British. He is a perfect storyteller, who speaks beautiful English and knows how to make the audience interested. We encourage active participation of all the participants – both speakers and listeners, that is why don’t hesitate to ask questions and debate.

- Thirdly, all the visitors have a chance to take part in a little dancing lesson and learn basic Morris dance steps!
