Party: Annie - OPEN AUDITIONS

The Dundee University Operatic and Musical Theatre Society (OpSoc) are looking for a talented cast and crew to produce a full production of the childhood classic Annie in just one weekend!

Meet us outside DUSA at on Thursday 17th September and we'll lead the way to our rehearsal space on campus. Our chorus is open, so those of you who only wish to take part in the ensemble will be free to leave after a brief introduction to the group, however everyone is encouraged to stay for the evening and audition for a principal part! All the audition material will be taught on the day, so there is no need to prepare anything in advance, but please come dressed for dancing as here will be a small movement workshop on the night to get a head start on learning some of the production numbers and to help us cast our lead dancers. We're unable to give an exact finish time for auditions as this will depend on the number of participants who show up on the day, however once you have been seen by our production team you are free to leave! We hope to be finished by 10PM at the latest.

There will be a participation cost of £15 for everyone involved to cover production costs, but this will also include a souvenir cast t-shirt!

REHEARSAL TIMES:
Friday 18th 7PM- 10PM
Saturday 19th 9AM – 10PM
Sunday 20th 9AM- 7PM
(Performance commencing immediately afterwards!)

(Please note: the principal cast will be required during the day on Friday the 19th, if you have any major conflicts please let us know at the auditions and we can try to work around this.)

Also even though Annie is usually performed by children, as we are a University Society, there is an age limit at 16 years an older to participate.
