Party: Freak the Beat

Freak the Beat : “Act of dancing in sync with the instrumental and/or vocal part of a song.”
Ex : Those girls really freak the beat when they dance.

“Freak the Beat” is a French electronic music project born in New York, back in 2012, when Remi B. mixed for the first time in Club B66 (Brooklyn).
Mainly influenced by Funk, Disco and Rock, his tracks are the perfect mix to those who want to dance, party or just chill on some good music.
Just listen to “Doin’it Right to the Funky Soul”, “Discoverhead”, “Suspicious Activities” or “Alive”
on his Soundcloud to give you an idea.

“I just wanna play the music I like, regardless of the charts. Nowadays, most of electronic music sound the same, it’s defined by Beatport’s top 100. I’m not interested in popularity but in creativity, originality and in a way to share my influences and make people discover something new that you can’t hear everywhere…”

When not playing in front of a dancefloor, Remi B. is spending his time in France, composing new
tracks in his home studio.
He’s actually working on his first E.P.
