Sydney indie darlings, the Maxine Kauter Band return to the Vanguard with great friends Kristy Apps and the Shotgun Shirleys. Apps and the Shirleys will release their self-titled EP and the Maxine Kauter Band will join them hot off the heels of their critically acclaimed release, Ghost in Love. It’s a craft she has honed over a decade of writing and performing, carving her niche in the Australian songwriter community, while winning plenty of fans around the globe. Together with the Shotgun Shirleys, Kristy has recorded her best work to date. Produced by ARIA and CMAA winning producer and performer Shane Nicholson. Weaving finely spun elements of folk, alternative country and rock, The Shotgun Shirley’s delivers an experience to be celebrated.
