CycleBar Mt. Pleasant and Running For Brews Charleston is teaming up for a very special Cyclegiving ride to benefit the YES Prep public school system in Houston, TX.
One of our CycleBar Instructors in Vintage Park, Caitlin Wales, works for this high-needs school system where 85% of the students qualify for food stamps and/or assisted lunch programs. As you can imagine, a storm like Harvey has completely torn their lives apart. Many of the families live paycheck to paycheck and will not be able to go back to work until their community is rebuilt, leaving them nowhere to turn for their basic needs.
The YES Prep public school system is helping these families in anyway they can with gift cards for clothes, mattresses, blankets and water/food. CycleBar Mt. Pleasant and Running for Brews will be donating 100% of all funds raised by this CycleGiving ride to their efforts.
We are asking for a $15 donation per bike, and will also be collecting any additional donations in studio. We will also be hosting a Happy Hour after the ride with appetizers graciously provided by Burtons in Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre! Thank you for your support of this wonderful cause!
