Party: Shaggin' Tonight
Main page > Norwich Swing Cats > Shaggin' Tonight
Collegiate Shag was one of the most popular dances of the 1930’s. It is a wild crazy dance that was a favourite with the college kids of the period - hence the name.
It’s a great for faster swing and jazz numbers but also works well with Western Swing, Rockabilly and Rockin’ Blues from the 1950s.
We will be teaching everything you need to know to get up on the dance floor and start shagging.
It's a simple basic step so come along and give it a try!
