Instant Connection Events is proud to be able to offer Melbournes singles an exclusive cooking and dining experience. Whether your skills match Jamie Oliver’s or your experience goes as far as boiling an egg, this event is for you.

Join us for a no-pressure combination of cooking, wining, dining and dating, as you make gourmet dishes, and hopefully a few new love connections.

You and up to 13 others will work together to create a Vietnamese and Thai banquet to share. The class will be led by the school’s Vietnamese born cook, Quyen Lyon.

The team will make you feel welcome the moment you enter their doors. The cost of the class includes a glass of sparkling wine or premium beer upon arrival, cooking class, recipe pack to take home as well as a lovely meal featuring all dishes cooked and a glass of wine. Additional drinks may be purchased at the event. The social time around the table is generous and the entire experience will be a maximum of 3.5 hours.

We have very limited numbers so please book in asap to not miss out on a place.

Note: To ensure that an equal number of men and women participate in the class, please purchase in the appropriate ticket (ie Ladies/Gentleman)

FAQs

Cancellation and transfer policy:

Please be aware that classes are non refundable.
Cancellations received more than 7+ days of your booked class are entitled to reschedule in to another class. A refund will not be given. Cancellations made 7 days & less of class date are non refundable and non transferable.
Want to send someone in your place? Absolutely no problem (as long as they are single and of same sex as you) – just let us know your friends name and contact details by email .
If, due to extreme and unforeseen circumstances, you cannot attend your class and you are within 7 days of class date, a $70 cancellation fee applies and is not negotiable. We are sure you appreciate the high cost of running the classes, purchases already made and the fact that seats cannot then be on-sold.

It is extremely unlikely however in the unlikely event that a class is cancelled or re scheduled, a future class date will be offered or a refund can be arranged.

How do I know if my place in the class is confirmed?

All reservations are deemed confirmed once payment is received in full. You will also receive a confirmation email. Class reservations must be paid for at time of booking your place but please feel free to contact us, if you need a special allowance (eg. you do not get paid for another 3 days) and we will do our best to assist. You do still need to register for the class by emailing Instant Connection Events.

What about dietary requirements?

We do our very best to accommodate certain dietary requirements however it is sometimes not possible with every dish within a particular class but again, so long as we know in advance, we do our very best. Please email any dietary restrictions to us at the time of your booking and well in advance of your class date.


Do I need to bring anything to a class?

Just your proofe of purshase. Aprons, pens, ingredients and all utensils are provided.

Can I bring a camera to the class?

You are welcome to bring a camera however video is not permitted. We request that you use discretion and consider other participants privacy if taking photographs. We reserves the right to revoke this permission at any time during a class, without notice and at it’s sole discretion.

What do I wear to the cooking class?

Please wear appropriate and comfortable clothing with closed shoes.
