Claudia Lisa Taflinger
Her Story
After being in remission for the last 3 years, Claudia Taflinger received results that no one affected by breast cancer wants to hear. The cancer is back and it has spread with a vengence. Doctors have told her that it has spread to her liver, lungs, kidneys, spine and bones. They delivered results that she is Stage 4, inoperable and incurable. With a timeframe of 6-12 months, Claudia has one wish. She would like to take some time to create lasting memories with her family. Her entire life has been devoted to her four children: Gavin age 6, Julian age 7, Priscilla age 12 and Analisa age 14. It breaks her heart to think that when her children look back on this time in their lives, they will only remember the sickness. Claudia is the sole breadwinner and has never been able to afford to take her kids on a family vacation. With some help from you we can help her create a memory that they will never forget and be able to think upon when the times get hard. Her hopes are that she will be able to take them to Disneyland while she has the energy to keep up with her babies.
