Cocoa was shaped following many meetings.
At the start of the project in 2011 there’s a reunion, that of Claire Henriksen and Philippe Havelange: one sings while the other produces and plays the bass. The seeds are sown.
However, to reduce Cocoa to only 2 personalities would be to betray the very core spirit of this band. In order to evolve, this formation called upon the talents of friends with different musical backgrounds and stories.
This assembly gives Cocoa its unique style. It is indeed a project in which each band member’s influences, stories and tastes are expressed in some form. This way, everyone finds their place in this happy pop.
Their first EP “Irresistible” was released in 2013.
